oshrights.jpgAnnual meeting of ANROAV Network members held at Hong Kong on 29-31 August, 2007. Annual meting is a regular feature now. Over a period of time, the network has strengthened and developed. The quality of presentations has kept on improving. The range of issues being discussed is widening. Activists come from different backgrounds. Each Asian country has different laws and different level of economical development. Cultures and languages are different. Political systems and level of freedom of expression for workers are different.

The ANROAV meeting 2007: Presentations

The ANROAV annual meeting took place at the BP international hotel in Hong Kong from the 29th to the 31st of August 2007. This annual meeting was on the heels of the 30th anniversary celebrations of AMRC.

"Partner" was unveiled on the occassion of International Worker's Memorial Day, 28 April, popularly known as 428 evening in Taipei.
Puzzled? Here is solution: "Partner" is a monument erected by Taipei 101 management in its premises to pay tribute to all those who contributed in building this magnificent building. This 101 story building is currently tallest building in the world with 1670 ft height. During its construction Taiwan faced earthquake. 5 workers engaged in construction, working at height, fell down and died.
