On December 9, 2010, members of the Asian Network for the Rights of Occupational and Enivironmental Victims (ANROEV) and the Asia Ban Asbestos Network (A-BAN) will conduct a protest, along with other anti-asbestos activists agains the re-opening of the Jeffrey Asbestos Mines and to press for the Canadian government to halt export of asbestos to other countries, including nation from the Asian region.
