After the last issue, on 20 the June we lost Vijay Kanhere, founder of Occupational Health & Safety Centre, Mumbai and an activist known all grassroots OHS organizations in Asia. When I was thinking seriously to interview him for this issue, we lost him all of sudden. It is a great loss not only to Indian movement on OHS but also to Asian movement, particularly ANROAV. He was member of the advisory committee of ANROAV. We pay our tribute to the great soul. His life and work shall keep inspiring us for a long time to come. He was mentor of many activists like me.
