Information for Abstract Submission
1. 2. The deadline for receiving abstracts is February 28, 2009.
3. Please do not send multiple submissions of the same abstract.

• Preferred presentation style (Oral) and format (Plenary session (1-6) / Workshop (1-5), Breakout session (1-2)
• Preferred equipment(s) for your presentation - PC projector
• Full name(s) of you (and other authors)

• Abstract of submitted paper

Information for Paper Submission
1. The advisory word limit for submissions is between 3,000 to 5,000 words. Submission should also include an abstract of approximately 200 words.

2. Spelling and punctuation: British English. (e.g., single quotation marks, ‘labour’ rather than ‘labor’, etc.)

3. If you use notes at all, kindly use endnotes rather than footnotes (and rather than in-text citations) and keep them to a minimum. Bibliography/references may also come at the end.

4. We will need electronic copies of your papers. We can handle MS Word, open office , and of course RTF. If you are using something other than MS Word or open office, we would like you to provide an RTF file.

5. Please kindly provide a short biographical note of yourself or for your organization in no more than 200 words.

6. The conference organisers, IBAS and AMRC, will produce a book of abstracts (translated into English and Chinese) which will be distributed at the conference. All abstracts will be included

7. After the conference takes place, the presentations and papers will be made available on the conference website and/or the websites of the organisers. Prior to making your presentation in Hong Kong, you will be asked to sign an agreement giving your consent to this arrangement.

Guidelines for Oral Presentations (Plenary Sessions/Workshops)
1. Each speaker will be allocated 10 minutes for oral presentation (15-20 minutes for key speaker) in principle. Moderators in charge of individual sessions will provide guidelines to speakers individually. The official language of the conference is English, and simultaneous interpretation will be provided for Chinese. Korean and Japanese participants will arrange their own interpreters. It is suggested that you time the length of your speech beforehand. All speakers are kindly requested to strictly observe their allotted presentation time.

2. PC projector will be available for your presentation. Those who wish to use PC projector will be requested to send their presentation via e-mail to the Organizer. If you have any request, please inform to the Organizer.
